A different kind of patent law group

Shalom Lampert is licensed to practice before the Israel Patent Office as a patent attorney. He has over 10 years of experience in IP Practice, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, performing patentability evaluations, consulting on IP strategic development, and tailoring IP portfolios to suit business models. Mr. Lampert has developed the concept of IP-driven research and development, which has proven invaluable to many clients.

Born and raised in the United States, Shalom Lampert holds degrees in chemical engineering practice (MS), chemical engineering (BS), and (general) engineering and humanities (BS), all from the Masschussetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His undergraduate thesis uncovers the progressively deterministic outlook manifested in the writings of Mark Twain.

Shalom Lampert has over a decade of work experience in R&D in chemical engineering, and has been employed as a consultant in applied thermodynamics, crystallization, separation technologies, and chemical processing. He is a named inventor on 4 US patents related to chemical production processes, as well as on several pending applications in various fields, including formulations, hybrid energy systems, and nanotechnology. His experience in R&D, and as an inventor "sitting on the other side of the table", provide an additional vantage point and a depth of perception in understanding inventions and inventors.

Mr. Lampert has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of medical devices, nanotechnologies, various alternative energy systems, chemical formulations and processing, and mechanical apparatus, including tribological technologies and safety equipment.

Shalom Lampert acts both as IP counsel and as an active member of R&D steering committees in several corporations, promoting a symbiotic relationship between technological development and IP-related activities.
